Hello my lovelies!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Let’s face it, were all a tiny bit nosy when it comes to seeing what other people received for Christmas. I personally love seeing what others received and more importantly, I get very excited (and impatient) for others to open the gifts that I got them because I love to see the expression on their faces!
Disclaimer: Blah, blah..I am in no way trying to brag or show off, etc. and I am so grateful and appreciative for all of the gifts I received this year.
Alright, with that being said, let’s jump right into it »»
I have been eyeing this beautiful necklace for such a long time! I was kindly gifted the Missoma Gold Mini Fang Necklace, which is a collaboration collection with Lucy Williams (of Fashion Me Now). I love how delicate and simple it is; you can wear this piece alone or layer with multiple necklaces.
Words cannot explain how in love I am with my first pair of designer boots! I have been fantasizing over the Alexander Wang Kori Boots for almost 3 years now, and I am so happy to have these beauties in my shoe collection. If you don’t know, Kori boots come in multiple colours, materials, and hardware, such as gold, rose gold, silver, and matte black. I decided to go for the classic black with silver hardware. The leather is so incredibly soft as butter and they fit like a glove!
There isn’t much to be said about this gift other than who doesn’t love receiving a gift card to the mall? I received a $100 Metrotown Gift Card and yes, I already have a few ideas on what I will be spending it on. This gift card can be used at 21 shopping centres and 3000 stores nationwide! How amazing and versatile is that?!
I feel like the leopard trend is here to stay, as it has been trending for multiple years now! This Wilfred Leopard Triangle Scarf is made from pure Australian wool, which explains the softness of this piece. The fringed edges give this scarf a more grunge look, which I love!
Everyone that knows me knows I absolutely love tea! I received 3 lovely gifts from David’s Tea: Confetti Element Tea For One, David’s Perfect Gold Infuser, and my favourite tea from David’s tea, Sakura Cherry. Starting with the Teapot set – The colour of this ceramic pot is a beautiful pastel grey-blue with specs of white and gold confetti and a beautiful wood handle. The silver infuser is great for loose leaf tea and the tea cup sits perfectly on top! Next, the luxurious gold infuser – ahh, gold-coated anything makes me smile. This infuser comes with a turquoise ceramic lid that doubles as a saucer when you’re done steeping, how convenient! Finally, my favourite tea from David’s tea: Sakura cherry. This tea is a deliecious organic sencha green tea with a bright cherry aroma (natural). Alright, now that I’ve written an essay all on David’s Tea, let’s move on…
Ahhh Lush, known for its famous bath bombs and handmade with all natural and fresh ingredients, a gift from Lush is sure to make anyone smile. This beautiful pink/white swirly goodness is The Comforter Bubble Bar – Lush’s best seller! Break off pieces of this divine fruity/candy smelling bar into the bath and you will have lustful pink water and creamy, soothing bubbles, my fav!
Who doesn’t love candy? This unique Cocktail Collection candy from Squish adds a nice twist to your average candy by featuring gummies inspired by a classic cocktail with rum, prosecco, pineapple and cola notes. This set includes delicious Bubbly Bears, Pina Colada, Cuba Libre and Ice Cubes. It’s like having your fav drink without the headache!
Alright, scratch and win’s have grown on me – They are so much fun (and addicting)! This gift pack includes several holiday themed scratch and win tickets. As soon as I received this, everyone wanted to play, so we did, and unfortunately won $0 (shocking). That’s okay though because everyone had a heart-pumping experience – you know what I’m talking about!
I adoreee candles! So I was very excited when I opened up my next gift, a Voluspa Mini Decorative Tin Candle – Bourbon Vanilla. This luxurious candle includes notes of vanilla beans ground and distilled for extract. What I love most about this brand is that it is made with fragrant and clean-burning coconut wax (I love using coconut and soy wax) and comes in a lovely tin with star-embossed lid.
A final treat that I opened up this Christmas was a classic Starbucks Gift Card. Starbucks is one of those places I don’t go into often because they are incredibly over priced. However, when I do get a craving and want to treat myself to a special drink such as the Chestnut Praline Latte, or the Matcha Latte, this gift card will surely be serving its purpose!
