Hello and happy Saturday! I thought I would share some lovely tips to help YOU relax & de-stress after a long day. Whether you were at work, running errands, or taking care of the kids, I am here to guide you through some of my best essentials that help me ease into the perfect beauty sleep. ♥ Exercise – One of the first things I love to do when I finish work is exercise! I will either go kickboxing at 30 Minute Hit or I will go to the gym in my building. I always feel so refreshed and energized after 30-60 minutes of physical exercise!
♥ Enjoy a light dinner – In my opinion, it is best to have a light & early dinner. Why? Well, if you have dinner close to bedtime, you may have a harder time falling asleep as your body increases blood sugar.
♥ Have a cup of tea – green, rooibos, & chamomile are my faves for making me feel super zen and calm!
♥ Skincare – Indulge with a moisturizing & hydrating sheet mask, like Di Morelli’s Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Sheet Masque, which has easily become my fave!
♥ Have an unwinding bath – I love adding bath bombs as well as Epsom salts to my bath because they really help ease stress and relax the body.
♥ Turn off your phone – Doing so disconnects from digital stimulation, which is crucial to having a good night’s sleep.
♥ Invest in a silk pillowcase – I have been using my silk pillowcase for about 3 months now and I love it! Benefits include: reducing bed head & split ends, helps skin retain moisture, and most importantly, anti-aging.
♥ Pamper in cozy bedding layers – Having the best of the best when it comes to bedding is very important to me because I am going to sleep on them every single night, and I want to feel like I’m laying on a cloud.
